The sweetest desserts are with Baileys!

True sweets lovers have tried Baileys dessert at least once in their lives. The unique taste of the Irish cream gives a special charm to all the sweets, and especially to the ones you prepare at home for your loved ones.

If you are unsure what next to prepare for dessert, here are two ideas that will surely make your choice easier.

Baileys Salted Caramel Affogato

Ingredients needed:

  • Sweet sour cream
  • 1 condensed soft milk
  • Baileys Irish Cream
  • Butter
  • Brown sugar
  • Solvo crystals
  • Espresso

Method of preparation:

  1. In a bowl, add 2 cups of sweet sour cream and whisk with a mixer until it thickens. Then add the condensed milk and whisk again. Finally add 1/3 cup of Baileys and whisk again.
  2. In another bowl over low heat, place a cup of butter to melt. Add 1 ½ cup of brown sugar and stir. Add 6 tablespoons of sweet sour cream, 2 tablespoons of Baileys and 1 teaspoon of salt in crystals. Leave the mixture on the fire to boil.
  3. Pour the cream from the first bowl into a long pan and smooth it. Pour a little more than half of the mixture from the second bowl evenly over the whole pan and slowly stir it through the cream with a spoon.
  4. Put the pan to cool for 4 hours in the freezer.
  5. Serve in a glass, making balls with a special ice cream spoon. Pour the rest of the glaze over them and a dose of hot espresso.

Baileys French Toast

Ingredients needed:

  • 100 ml Baileys
  • 2 eggs
  • 30 ml milk
  • 4 slices of bread
  • 40 g butter
  • Whipped cream, raspberries, blackberries and powdered sugar for decoration

Method of preparation:

  1. The procedure is similar to fried bread. Whisk the two eggs, add the milk and Baileys cream and mix to get a nice mixture.
  2. Dip the bread slices in the mixture and cook for a few minutes.
  3. Melt the butter on a medium heat and put the bread slices to fry.
  4. Serve on a plate and decorate with whipped cream and lots of fruit. Finally, chocolate sauce and powdered sugar can be added if desired.
